Thanks for looking, Doc. That's not the one but I followed your _link_ and read about The Road and it looks like my type of movie so it's definitely on my to-see list. Could it be Zombieland? It's zombies instead of ghouls: http://www.imdb.com/_title_/tt1156398/ That may be good. I saw the preview when I went to District 9. Looks like Dale will be taking me to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs some time tomorrow. (Digital 3D is a far cry from the old version, with the glasses with different-colored cellophane.) I'm waiting to hear if Surrogates is any good. For fun I'd go to Zombieland. You couldn't pay me to go see Jennifer Aniston in Love Happens . No, no, no, no, no, no, no... No. In other words, Mrs. Hoots can take her mother to that one. Mrs Hoots *is* with her family but I doubt they went to the movies. Now that I think about it, I don't recall my inlaws *ever* going to a movie. They don't own a dvd p_layer_ and I am pretty sure they never rented a movie (unless a grandkid did it or something). They're simple, honest, hard-working people but not too much in the current culture main stream - more of a backwater thing. So they've never taken the kids to a Disney movie? No Pinocchio or Snow White? That's not quite current but, yes, they did take their kids to movies now and then back in the 60's. I was referring to this century.
So, no Harry Potter or Toy Story? My wife is too old for her parents to have taken her to those movies. Mrs Hoots goes to some movies with me, but not all the time. I have never known her to rent a movie or ask me or anyone else to go to a movie with her. Since she was raised by people who hardly ever went to the movies, she has little interest in them. Very curious. What did she think of the Star Trek movie? She liked it a lot. She went with me to see it the first weekend, and enjoyed it. She's well versed in Trek stuff, not because she likes it but because of, well, me and the TV show. She wouldn't go with me a couple weeks later to IMAX to see it again. She's a Trekkie Widow. I'm not *that* bad. I don't think I ever watched a whole episode of STNG or any of the later shows (Vogager, etc). No BSG (except the original) nothing like that. The movie sequel is due out in 2011. Think she'll go?
