Mags, You make excellent points here and I agree with you wholeheartedly. I never intended to imply that I thought we *should* send the money, because frankly I'm afraid it would most certainly go to Hamas. My simple point was that we need to be careful to do our due diligence when it comes to forwarding stories and rumors. How do I know this? Because I myself have been guilty of unintentionally propagating falsehoods, and I made myself look dumb in the process. That's why I try to make everyone stop and think before they unquestioningly forward e-mails. Thanks! You're awesome! *May God save our Republic,* *MOOSE ** **The Unrepentant Patriot* *“Making a virtue * * of* * unapologetic * * political * * incorrectness.”* On Tue, Aug 25, 2009 at 2:19 PM, Maggie <

wrote: Dear Moose, While I agree with you that it's important for Obama opposers to only disseminate the facts and not a slew of ridiculous made up shit, I think you may be missing some of the important implications of the Obama Palestine aid situation. (Then again it may be me, who knows.) This is how I see it, right or wrong: *1.)* There's a reason Israel has Palestine in a lock down and it's for it's own protection. It's tired of having rockets lobbed at it and it's people killed by crazy Hamas terrorists. *2.)* By aiding Palestinian refugees (no matter how much our hearts go out to the victims) it thus automatically helps Hamas and harms Israel because it undermines what Israel is doing, which is defending itself. *3.)* Israel does not fuck around. It has stated that it would send missiles all over the world if it felt it was necessary and I believe it. So aiding Hamas could be the start of WWIII. *4.)* Obama was quick to write this memorandum<http://www.whitehouse.gov/the_press_office/Unexpected_Urgent_Refugee_...back in January, and although Congress did not go with it, the sentiment is still there. *5.)* When the Iranian revolution first hit the news Congress wanted to help the victims of Ahmadinejad and his Basij brutal attacks. Obama came on television and explained why he would not aid the Iranian protesters. *Conclusion: *Even if I can not in all honesty definitively conclude that there is a relationship between these two events I still find it extremely suspicious that: 1.) Obama is eager to (indirectly) defy Israel and *aid Hamas*. (Muslim extremists) 2.) Obama will *not aid the victims* of the *Ayatollah and **Ahmadinejad*. (Muslim extremists) Did his good old American heart suddenly go missing? 3.) All things considered, including Obama's commie / Muslim-supporting shady past, where do his allegiances lie? Once again, this is an e-mail rumor that is not factual. Actually it's a rumor that has taken something *partly true* and stretched it into a falsehood.
